Born in Glen Cove, Long Island , Diane found her love of stories and storytelling as a young child. Her mother always read her bedtime stories and her love of it grew from there. And this is how it all began!

 

Words became the center of her world as the way to escape the loneliness of being an only daughter with three brothers. She would take to her bicycle with  notepad and pencil in hand . First poems were written beside a creek at the end of her street. A high school English teacher told Diane, "You must keep writing!”. She wrote articles for a college newspaper, human interest stories for newspapers and a collection of poems published in her book, "Naked Feathers” (2006).

 

In 2019, at her family home,  Diane discovered a huge collection of her parents’ writings ,from letters to biographies and children’s stories and even more outlines of children and youth stories.

 

So she started to develop, write and publish the stories to share with the world.
