We Are
Who
It all started with a letter, a letter found by the writers father. In the letters that her Dad wrote to her Mom from Yale University, he would often start with “My small one...” With a passion for writing and books and the love for family, she established a small publishing business to commemorate and bring to life the stories of her family.

My Small One Books is designed to bring back the joy of bedtime stories while helping children of all ages to uncover strength and safety within. These characteristics can be found in friends, home and discovered within.

My Small One Books was created with fun lessons in mind. As the author is a survivor of domestic violence , she has spent many years writing to discover her own strength and safety shining through her creative work. Jumping into acting, comedy and singing were ways to escape from her isolation and publication has led to building her strength, individuality and positive connection to others. These published stories will focus on self confidence, problem solving and positive social interaction and skill building. To this end the author has created discussion questions that will follow public readings and be published with future books, as well as activity sheets and improvised play ideas. The books aim to help children feel connected and grow.

Mission:
My Small One Books will deliver stories that help to build confidence, teach the benefits of being responsibility, illustrate problem solving and promote positive social interaction. All of the stories will be wrapped in creative language and a sense of play and fun.
